Constable Ices Deal with Blaze

The Genting Casino Coventry Blaze are pleased to confirm the signing of Canadian forward Grayson Constable for the 2024/25 Elite League season.

Constable, 26, turns professional with Blaze following five years in the NCAA with College of the Holy Cross and Long Island University.

Standing at 6’2″ and shooting right, Constable amassed 44 points (23 goals, 21 assists) and blocked 104 shots over 156 appearances.

In his senior season at Holy Cross, he served as Captain and left the programme ranked eighth in career shorthanded goals.

He was named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team twice in 2020 and 2023.

Before his NCAA career, the Lethbridge, AB native shone in the AJHL with the Bonnyville Pontiacs, where he captained the team during the 2018/19 season and recorded 54 points (24 goals, 30 assists) in 52 regular season games.

Head Coach Kevin Moore said, “Grayson is a high character, high energy player. He uses his skating to be relentless all over the ice and he will make an impact in all phases of the game for us this season.”
