The Coventry Blaze are pleased to confirm the signing of Canadian forward Colby MacArthur for the 2026/27 season.
MacArthur, 24, arrives in Coventry following his first taste of professional hockey with the Kansas City Mavericks, where he played 13 games, recording two goals and two assists.
Prior to turning pro, MacArthur completed his NCAA career with Union College, enjoying a standout 2025/26 campaign. He appeared in 35 games, registering 12 goals and 20 assists for 32 points.
Across his collegiate career from 2022 to 2026, MacArthur played 113 games, recording 23 goals and 50 assists for a total of 73 points.
During the 2025/26 season, he was named to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team. He also posted an impressive .521 face-off winning percentage, winning more than 50% of his 509 draws and recording double-digit face-off wins on eight occasions.
Head Coach Kevin Moore commented: “We are excited to add Colby MacArthur to our roster. Colby is a big right-shot center with a good hockey IQ and a good shot. He is a 200-foot player who can impact the game in all situations. He is also a great teammate. We are excited to bring Colby to Coventry!”
MacArthur will wear jersey number 14 for the Blaze during the 2026/27 season.
