The DPD Coventry Blaze are pleased to be working with Motorpoint following the retailer’s naming rights partnership with the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL), now known as the Motorpoint Elite League.
As part of the league-wide partnership, Motorpoint has helped facilitate a vehicle deal for the Blaze, with four new cars arranged for the club to use throughout the 2026/27 season.
The arrangement also provides an opportunity for the Blaze to build a closer relationship with Motorpoint’s local Coventry branch, bringing together two well-known names in the local community.
Rob Coleman, Blaze General Manager said:
“It’s great to have Motorpoint’s support in arranging four new cars for us this season. We’re looking forward to building a strong relationship with the team at Motorpoint Coventry throughout the year.
“They have a fantastic range of nearly new and used cars, so I’d encourage anyone thinking about changing their car to visit the showroom and see what’s available.”
Motorpoint became the principal commercial partner and title sponsor of the EIHL ahead of the 2026/27 season, in a five-season agreement running until 2031. The deal marks the first time the retailer has held naming rights to a professional sports league, with integrated branding and commercial activations across the regular season and playoffs.
Laura Newman, Brand marketing lead, Motorpoint commented: “We’re delighted to be supporting Coventry Blaze with their vehicle needs through our Motorpoint Coventry store. As naming rights partner of the Motorpoint Elite League, we’re proud to be strengthening our relationship with clubs across the league”
The Blaze would like to thank Motorpoint for facilitating the vehicle arrangement and look forward to working with the Coventry team throughout the season.
