The Nottingham Panthers were crowned 2024/25 Elite League Playoff Champions after an unforgettable finale to the season.
In a thrilling Grand Final, the Panthers triumphed 4-3 over the Cardiff Devils in double overtime, with Mitch Fossier netting the game-winner at 92.15.

Cardiff had mounted a remarkable comeback, clawing back from a 3-0 deficit to force overtime. In a wild sequence of events, both teams believed they had scored the championship-winning goal during the extra period – only for each effort to be ruled out after review.
Eventually, Fossier sealed it in dramatic fashion, sparking wild celebrations and handing Nottingham their first piece of silverware since 2016.

To reach the final, the Panthers edged rivals Sheffield Steelers 4-3 in overtime, while the Devils ended Belfast Giants’ Grand Slam hopes with a commanding 5-0 semi-final victory.
We extend our congratulations to former Blaze Head Coach Danny Stewart on the achievement.
