Safety Measures
Information for Coventry Blaze games during 2025/26 – correct as of 1st October 2025. Subject to change at short notice subject to requirements from government.
Game Night Atmosphere Notice: During games, our arena environment includes strobe and flashing lights, amplified sound, and high crowd noise levels. These conditions may pose a risk for individuals with photosensitive epilepsy or sensory processing sensitivities. Attendees are advised to take appropriate precautions.
Planet Ice are a cashless facility. However, they will have the facility to accept cash payments in the instance where customers are not able to pay via card on match nights. Where there are multiple till points in food and drink locations, only one till will be accepting cash payments. Please check the signage at each till point and head to the cash till point if paying via cash. All tills within the arena will be accepting card payments.
The Coventry Blaze accept both card and cash payments on a match-night. Whilst we would encourage the use of contactless means of payment, it is not a requirement and cash is accepted.
We would highly recommend pre-purchasing your ticket/s online and having your ticket ready before you arrive at the Arena. This also applies to away supporters. Tickets can still be purchased in cash at the box office during the week and on the day of a game.
For the protection of the players, please DO NOT gather by either team’s dressing room before, during or after a game.
For your safety, please keep your eye on the puck at all times, as it may occasionally leave the playing surface and enter spectator areas.
We would encourage you to contact us ahead of match night to let us know if you have any concerns or anxieties about your visit to us. We want to do all we can to help you feel confident, reassured, and excited about your visit.

Planet Ice Policies
Genting Casino Coventry Blaze games are played at the Skydome Arena which is managed by Planet Ice.
To ensure the comfort and safety for everyone attending games, Planet Ice would like to make the following information clear to all visitors:
Tickets
If you wish to exit the Arena during the game or period breaks, use the main doors only and keep your ticket with you at all times to ensure no issues in getting back inside.
Parking
Customers are advised there is no parking on the Skydome site, other than in the allotted car multi-storey park (INFO). Any customers parking on the paved areas on the Skydome site are advised that their vehicles may be removed without warning for security purposes. There is an external company regularly issuing parking charges, which is out of the control of the Arena.
Bag Search
All bags coming into the Arena will be searched as customers enter the concourse and customers may at times be subjected to random searches at discretion of the security staff on duty. To avoid a delay in entering the venue we’d ask customers to arrive to the game a little earlier than usual, as inevitably the wait may be slightly longer than previous seasons. To further assist us we recommend bringing no unnecessary bags/holders with you.
Food and Drink
Customers are also reminded that externally purchased food or drink is not to be brought into the Arena.
We’re more than happy to accommodate both on medical grounds and ask that evidence is supplied in these instances to ensure smooth passage into the Arena. Items found will be turned away or stored until after the game has ended, for collection upon exit.
Medication
You can bring your essential medication along to match nights at Skydome Arena so long as it’s labelled correctly and doesn’t pose a safety risk.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome on match nights at Skydome Arena. Please be aware though that noise levels can be high during games.
If you’re attending match night with an assistance dog, please let the Blaze office know at the time of your booking by emailing office@coventryblaze.co.uk or 02477 719919 so we can inform our security team.
Suspicious Activity
If you have any suspicions or safety concerns at any of our events, please speak to a member of our security team who will be happy to assist. Once again we look forward to welcoming customers old and new back to the Skydome and thank you in advance for your support in providing a safe and enjoyable venue.
