The Genting Casino Coventry Blaze are excited to announce the signing of talented British forward Mack Stewart for the upcoming 2025/26 Elite League season.
The 20-year-old joins the Blaze following a strong campaign on a two-way deal with the Belfast Giants and Milton Keynes Lightning. Stewart made five Elite League appearances and played 61 times in NIHL competitions, racking up an impressive 65 points (31 goals, 34 assists) during the regular season. He added seven points (three goals, four assists) in the playoffs, playing a key role in helping the Lightning secure the NIHL Playoff Championship.
Stewart is no stranger to the Blaze, having previously guested for the club during the 2023/24 season and most recently taking part in David Clements’ testimonial game.
A product of the Giants’ youth system, Stewart has been linked with Belfast for the past four seasons. During that time, he made 63 appearances in the Elite League and featured in the Champions Hockey League. He was part of a highly successful Giants era, contributing to three Elite League titles and the Grand Slam winning 2022/23 season.
In addition to his time in Belfast, Stewart has been a regular contributor in the NIHL, spending three seasons with Milton Keynes Lightning and suiting up for the Leeds Knights in 2021/22.
Across 192 NIHL games, he has compiled an impressive 144 points (60 goals, 84 assists) and in addition to the Playoff crown achieved with the Lightning last season, he was also a NIHL Cup winner in 2023/24.
On the international stage, Stewart has proudly represented Great Britain at the U18 and U20 levels, competing in the IIHF World Championship Division 2A. He earned two bronze medals and a silver during his time with the national junior teams.

Stewart will wear #18 for Blaze in the 25/26 Elite League season.
