Blindside Trading Cards is a family-run trading card manufacturer based in Nottingham and Derby.
Founded in 2017, they began with the goal of bringing bespoke trading card collections to British ice hockey, launching their first set with the Nottingham Panthers where 250 packs sold out in a single day.
Since then, Blindside has grown significantly, expanding their reach across the UK and Europe, and working with teams from the English Football Leagues, Elite Ice Hockey League (including the Coventry Blaze), Premiership Rugby, and British Basketball.
Pack production has increased more than 100-fold, and demand continues to result in regular sell-outs.
They pride themselves on UK-based production, using recyclable materials and operating under a carbon-neutral manufacturing model. This commitment to both quality and sustainability is central to their brand.
Their trading card collections are built around base cards, which feature each player on the roster and serve as the foundation of every set. These are often complemented by parallel base cards, showcasing the same players in alternate kits or special-edition jerseys – such as themed or pride designs – and are typically rarer.
Their collections are often split into series, with different players appearing across the base and parallel runs, creating a deeper and more varied collection for fans and collectors.
