The Genting Casino Coventry Blaze can confirm that British forward Brynley Capps has opted to return to the UK for the 2025/26 season.
Capps, 18, will continue with the Blaze organisation, while also signing a two-way agreement with the NIHL’s Telford Tigers coached by former Blaze Tom Watkins.
The winger had initially committed to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the BCHL in Canada, but has chosen to continue his development closer to home.
For the upcoming season, Capps will play the majority of his games with the Tigers, while training weekly with the Blaze and remaining available for Head Coach Kevin Moore to call upon when required.
Moore said, “We look forward to working together with Tom to push Brynley out of his comfort zone so he can take another step in his development. We will work closely on both the mental and physical side of the sport to ensure he works to establish a growth mindset for both short and long term success.”
