In a proud celebration of inclusivity and diversity within our sport, the Coventry Blaze will take to the ice wearing specially designed Pride jerseys by Five-on-3 during Elite League fixtures on 23rd and 30th January 2026.

The Blaze will showcase the home (blue) jerseys at the Skydome Arena on Sunday 25th January as we host the Fife Flyers at 5.30pm. The away (white) jerseys will then be worn at SSE Arena as we take on the Belfast Giants on Friday 30th January.
This LGBTQ+ initiative underlines the club’s ongoing commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for everyone connected to the Blaze – from players and staff to supporters and the wider community.
Ice hockey is a sport built on teamwork, passion, and respect. At the Blaze, we firmly believe that hockey is for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion, or background. Everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and represented both in our arena and within the sport as a whole.
By proudly wearing the Pride jerseys in competitive Elite League action, the Blaze are standing alongside the LGBTQ+ community and reinforcing the message that discrimination has no place in ice hockey. These games provide an opportunity to celebrate diversity, spark important conversations, and continue building a culture where everyone feels they belong.
We encourage all fans to join us in showing support as we celebrate Pride and the shared belief that the game we love is strongest when it is inclusive.
Together, on and off the ice, we continue to say it loud and clear: Hockey is for Everyone.

Raffle Prizes (not be available for purchase)

#20 Mat Robson’s away Pride jersey is the prize in the online Booster Club raffle for the Flyers game.

In addition, #61 Alessio Luciani’s away Pride jersey will be the prize in the online Booster Club raffle for the 1st February Storm game.

The Blaze will again make a donation to Coventry Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre (CRASAC) from the profits of the jerseys.
CRASAC supports people in Coventry who have been affected by sexual abuse and have expertise in some of the specific fears and pressures which may be experienced by Black, Asian, Minority and Refugee communities and provide an impartial, non-judgmental space for LGBTQ survivors.
The charity recognise that everyone is an individual who should be able to describe their sexual orientation and gender identity in their own way – safe from judgement, prejudice or discrimination.
