Bring the Blue

The Genting Casino Coventry Blaze are calling on fans to turn the Motorpoint Arena into a sea of blue for the 2026 Challenge Cup Final in Nottingham on Wednesday 18 March.

Blaze supporters are being encouraged to ‘Bring the Blue’ as the club enters its first Elite League Challenge Cup Final since winning the competition in the 2006/07 season, with fans asked to wear blue, bring blue tea towels, wave blue accessories, and light up the arena with blue phone lights in support of the team.

The Blaze will take to the ice wearing their Sky Blue Challenge Cup jerseys and a special commemorative version of the club’s warm-up jersey, with further information to be announced soon, as the team looks to lift silverware for the first time in over a decade in front of a passionate travelling fan base.

Supporters are encouraged to get creative and make as much noise and colour as possible, whether that’s face paint, blue wigs, blue finger lights, banners, coming dressed head-to-toe in blue, or even as a Smurf.

Fans are also invited to share their preparations and outfits on social media ahead of the final using the hashtag #BringTheBlue, as the club builds momentum heading into the biggest night of the season.

With drums permitted inside the arena, Blaze supporters are also encouraged to bring the noise as well as the colour. Whether it’s banging drums, clapping, chanting, or cheering every shift, the team will need the full voice of the travelling Blaze faithful behind them from puck drop to the final buzzer.

Let’s turn Nottingham blue – and make sure they hear us too.
