The Genting Casino Coventry Blaze are pleased to confirm their first pre-season fixtures ahead of the 2026/27 Elite League campaign, as they renew their rivalry with the Guildford Flames.
Kevin Moore’s side will begin their weekend on the road, travelling to Guildford on Saturday 5th September for a 6:00pm face-off. The teams will then meet again the following day at the Skydome Arena on Sunday 6th September, with the puck dropping at 5:30pm in what will be the Blaze’s final pre-season outing.
Last season, the Blaze and Flames faced off in both Elite League and Challenge Cup competition. League encounters were evenly matched, with the sides sharing six points from a 3-3 record. Two of those games required overtime, with the Blaze claiming the extra point on both occasions.
Coventry also enjoyed success in the Challenge Cup, recording victories in both meetings against the Flames.
