The Genting Casino Coventry Blaze can confirm that Canadian defenceman Josh Burnside will depart the club with immediate effect.
The 28-year-old joined the Blaze in the off-season following two seasons in the ECHL, but his stint in the UK will be cut short after eight competitive games with one assist.
The Blaze would like to wish Josh all the very best in his future pursuits.
A replacement will be sought and announced in due course.
