Former Genting Casino Coventry Blaze Head Coach Danny Stewart has been inducted into the Wood Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame.
Danny was part of the Class of 2024 inductees – alongside his brothers Bobby and Jay – for the Hall of Fame for their home town.
A special presentation to Danny, now coach of Nottingham Panthers took place after their recent game with Cardiff Devils where he was presented with a Hall of Fame ring and photo collage.
The presentation was made by Diane Phillips, the wife of Curtis J. Phillips who is the Founding Father of the Wood Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame (pictured above).
Before moving on to Nottingham this past summer, Stewart spent 12 seasons with the Blaze as both a player and coach.
We congratulate Danny on this thoroughly well deserved honour.
