Rugby Borough Women’s First Team compete in the Northern Premier Division of the Women’s National League which is the highly competitive third tier.
The players are currently semi-professional but with the aim of being promoted back into the championship and returning to being full time.
The women’s team re-named as Rugby Borough in May 2023 from Coventry United Ladies FC.
The change occurred because the women’s team at Coventry did not have a place to call home, instead they played at Butts Park Arena, home of Coventry Rugby. Welcomed with open arms, Rugby was the perfect fit.
