Last year, on Saturday 28 October 2023, Nottingham Panthers forward Adam Johnson tragically lost his life during an Elite League Challenge Cup game.
At each team’s next home game, teams will pay tribute to Adam across the Elite Ice Hockey League.
For the Coventry Blaze this will be on Sunday (27th October) vs. Belfast Giants at Skydome Arena.
We invite fans across the league to join us in a 47-second applause prior to the start of games to celebrate Adam’s life.
The Elite League would also like to actively encourage further fan-led tributes before, during or after games.
Some fans may find the minute’s applause difficult, and we ask that you continue to support each other as you did so wonderfully over the past year.
