The Genting Casino Coventry Blaze are pleased to confirm Milton Keynes Lightning and ESC Moskitos Essen as opponents for the 2024/25 pre-season campaign to be held at Skydome Arena.
A further European side is also to be confirmed to make up the final set of pre-season fixtures but paper work is still being finalised before this can be made official.
The first chance to see Kevin Moore’s new-look Blaze squad will come on Friday 30th August when local rivals MK travel to Coventry for a 7.30pm face-off.
Blaze will then welcome ESC Moskitos Essen of Germany’s Oberliga (third division) on Sunday 1st September (5.30pm).
Essen finished third in the Oberliga North standings last season and made it to the round of 16 in the post-season playoffs.
The German side will also play MK at Planet Ice Milton Keynes on Saturday 31st August (7pm).
Blaze expect to host further European opposition over a double header on Saturday 7th September (7pm) and Sunday 8th September (5.30pm) and then the Elite League season will begin on Sunday 15th September at Skydome Arena vs. Glasgow Clan.
