The Genting Casino Coventry Blaze will host the Cardiff Devils at Skydome Arena on Sunday (5.30pm) in a top of the table showdown.
With the game being held on Remembrance Sunday, the Blaze will hold a ceremony of remembrance ahead of face-off and the players will wear special jerseys designed and supplied by Five-on-3 to mark the occasion.
The game worn jerseys will be auctioned on eBay, beginning on Friday with starting bids at £150.
#13 Grayson Constable’s jersey will be the shirt off the back raffle prize on the night of the game and #61 Alessio Luciani’s is the online Booster Club raffle prize.
Tickets to win the Luciani Remembrance Jersey are just £2 with the raffle ending at 4pm on Sunday. The lucky winner will be able to collect the jersey from the FanHub after the game.
The jerseys of David Clements and Mike Kennedy will also not be available for sale due to a sponsorship agreement.
All other player and blood jerseys will be available to bid on.
This year the Blaze have chosen to make a donation of profits from sales to the Army Benevolent Fund.
The Army Benevolent Fund is the Army’s national charity, and exists for soldiers, past and present, and their families for life.
Last year the Army Benevolent Fund supported an estimated 75,000 people in 51 countries around the world.
We will hold a bucket collection for Army Benevolent Fund at the game vs. Cardiff and they will have a stall outside of the meal hut where items can be purchased to support the charity.
As one of the largest funders in the sector, they award grants to individuals and families, and fund leading organisations that support soldiers, former soldiers, and their families. Find out more by visiting their website.
