There are just six home games remaining for the Genting Casino Coventry Blaze in the 2023/24 Elite League regular season campaign.
The run-in at Skydome Arena begins with the Dundee Stars on Saturday 24th February (7pm).
Dundee sit just four points behind Coventry and will be aiming to close that gap while after beating Guildford Flames on Saturday, Blaze have their sights set on moving into the top four.
Under former Blaze coach Marc LeFebvre, the Stars are an exciting side and have two of the league’s top four point producers in Ryan Valentini (19 goals, 27 assists for 46 points) and Spencer Naas (24 goals, 14 assists for 41 points).
Coventry’s defence will need to be at their best and the blue-line will be boosted by the arrival of American Chase Hartje who will make his pro debut following four seasons in USports with University of Manitoba.
Blaze also possess a threat in the form of Associate Captain Ian McNulty who has 14 points (six goals, eight assists) over the last ten games and leads the team with 38 (15 goals, 23 assists). American Kobe Roth is also a big goal threat sitting fourth in the league with 20 (plus 12 assists for 32 points).
Coventry have won 3 of the 4 meetings between the two this season, most recently thanks to a Johnny Curran overtime winner at Dundee Ice Arena in early January.
