The Genting Casino Coventry Blaze are pleased to confirm their pre-season schedule ahead of the 2025/26 Elite League season.
Kevin Moore’s side will hit the newly laid Skydome ice for the first time on Friday 29th August (7.30pm) when they host the NIHL Playoff Champions, Milton Keynes Lightning.
The action continues on Sunday 31st August (5.30pm) with the visit of European opposition, the Tilburg Trappers. Based in the Netherlands and competing in Germany’s Oberliga Nord, the Trappers are familiar visitors to the Skydome, having last played in Coventry during pre-season in 2016 – a game Blaze won 6-2.
Tilburg finished top of the Oberliga Nord last season and reached the semi-finals of the Oberliga Playoffs. Their 2025/26 roster includes a familiar face in former Blaze forward Kobe Roth, who re-signed after an impressive 60-point season (29 goals, 31 assists) in 54 games.
Blaze will then go on the road to face Elite League Playoff champions, the Nottingham Panthers, coached by former Blaze boss Danny Stewart, on Saturday 6th September (7.00pm) at the Motorpoint Arena.
Pre-season preparations will conclude back at the Skydome on Sunday 7th September (5:30pm) with a home clash against the new-look Guildford Flames.
