The Genting Casino Coventry Blaze regret to confirm that the Challenge Cup Semi-Final Second-Leg in Belfast scheduled for Wednesday 18th February has been postponed.
The team’s scheduled flight to Belfast was cancelled and despite exhaustive efforts to secure alternative travel arrangements, it was unfortunately not been possible to reach SSE Arena in time for the fixture.
All tickets purchased for the game will remain valid for the re-arranged date, which will be confirmed and communicated in due course.
To those who made the journey:
“We would like to extend our sincere apologies and heartfelt thanks to those of you who made the trip to Belfast today. We know many of you invested significant time, money, and energy to support us in the Challenge Cup, and we are truly sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience caused by the postponement.
“Due to a late cancellation of the team’s flight, the subsequent rebooking process, and the resulting travel constraints, it unfortunately became impossible to get the team to the arena for a face off time that Belfast could accommodate.
“While circumstances were outside of our control, we fully recognize that this does not lessen the frustration for those of you who traveled to be there.
“Your commitment, loyalty, and willingness to go the extra mile to support us never go unnoticed. We are incredibly grateful for your dedication, and we regret that today’s events prevented us from competing in front of you.”
