Genting Casino Coventry Blaze defenceman David Clements and forward Johnny Curran have been called up to the Team Great Britain squad for the Olympic Qualifiers to be held at Vindico Arena in Cardiff.
Great Britain will be joined by Romania, China and Serbia for the four-team tournament from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th February 2024.
The group winners will progress to Final Qualifying in August 2024 – the final stage of qualifying before the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.
The full Team GB squad is as follows:
GB Coach Pete Russell said: “As ever, we had plenty of options and it was tough getting it down to a final 22.
“I really like the look of our squad and I am pleased to add Cam (Critchlow), Sean (Norris) and Brandon (Whistle), who were close to be selected for last year’s World Championship.
“This is the start of another big year for us and it’s great to be hosting a tournament on home ice in the UK again.”
