Blaze Welcome DPD as New Title Sponsor

Ahead of the 2026/27 Motorpoint Elite League season, the Coventry Blaze are delighted to announce DPD as the club’s new title sponsor for the next three seasons.

As one of the UK’s leading parcel delivery companies, DPD is recognised for its innovation, industry-leading delivery service and extensive national and international delivery network.

With its head office and major national hubs all in the Midlands, the company has a strong connection to the region and shares the Blaze’s commitment to supporting local communities and striving for excellence in everything it does.

The partnership reflects the shared ambition of both organisations to invest in the continued growth and long-term success of the Blaze on and off the ice.

Speaking about the new partnership, DPD UK Chief Executive Officer, Justin Pegg, pictured right above with Andy Webb, Head of Marketing for DPD UK (left) and Rob Coleman, Blaze General Manager (centre), said:

“We are absolutely delighted to be backing the Blaze and are looking forward to the new season. Like the Blaze, we are firmly rooted in the region, and it is fantastic to see two strong Midlands brands coming together in this way. We know many of our people are already passionate hockey fans, and we’re excited to introduce even more colleagues to the sport. We wish the team the very best of luck for the season ahead.”

As title sponsor, DPD’s branding will feature prominently throughout the Skydome Arena, on the Blaze’s jerseys and across the club’s digital platforms. The partnership will also create new opportunities to engage with supporters, local businesses and the wider community through a range of initiatives during the season and beyond.

Blaze General Manager Rob Coleman commented:

“We’re delighted to welcome DPD to the Blaze family. From our very first conversations with Justin and his team, it was clear this was about much more than a sponsorship. They genuinely want to be part of what we’re building, supporting the club in every way they can and helping us continue to grow. Having a company with such strong Midlands roots and shared values makes this a natural fit. We’re looking forward to what we can achieve together and the positive impact it can have for our supporters, our community and the future of the Coventry Blaze.”

The Coventry Blaze and DPD look forward to a successful future together, united by a shared commitment to excellence, ambition and delivering long-term success for both organisations.
